Herman’s background in the South African Defence Force, Military Police training, tourism, and corporate sector shaped the discipline, discretion, and attention to detail that define Emerald Executive Travel today.

Over the years, the company has earned a reputation for reliable corporate transport, VIP travel, executive transfers, and security-coordinated movements. A career highlight came in 2013, when Herman was selected to form part of the official transportation detail during visits involving the President of the United States and the funeral of former President Nelson Mandela.

In 2019, the company was restructured as Emerald Executive Travel (Pty) Ltd, with a dedicated focus on corporate and executive transportation.
